A few hours at Oare

Today between work I managed a few hours at Oare marshes, one of my old local haunts from uni days! Not much has changed apart from the additional highland cattle which are currently churning up a superb area for breeding Lapwing behinds the east hide. Species of note included- Hen Harrier ( ringtail), Swallow (35), Black-tailed Godwit (17), Avocet (13), pintail, wigeon, teal, gadwall, snipe, lapwing, water rail, med gull, little egret, bearded tit (6) and 3 water pipit.

Below are some images again taken by handholding the iPhone to the scope, not too bad, I am sure you will agree
