Migrants at Last

Well it's not just the parents that are out birding and having fun, finally out of the office as the survey season swings into action! Today I have been working in the South East and at last my first real taste of migration in 2013. As usual with work related posts no site specific information can be divulged but today I recorded - Yellow wagtail (2), Swallow (2), Wheatear (5), Yellowhammer (10+), Corn Bunting (6). A drive nearby produced - Shelduck (35), Lapwing, Golden Plover, Dunlin and a Marsh Harrier

Now as Mum and Dad have the camera with them I would just like to point out that this blog post was brought to by Apple! Yes, you guessed it, the above images were taken with an iPhone 4S handheld and this post has been wrote using the blogger app! Technology at its finest!
